Therapy is a place where you don’t have to
You’re exhausted in a way that’s hard to explain. Not just tired, but worn down from years of showing up for everyone else while quietly pushing your own needs aside.
You might be carrying the weight of a painful relationship…past or present. You might be stuck in patterns you can see clearly but can’t seem to change. You might have lost touch with who you are outside of what you do for everyone else.
Or maybe something has shifted recently. A separation. A loss. A transition that’s left you questioning everything. And you’re ready…finally…to stop white-knuckling it alone.
If any of that sounds familiar, individual therapy might be exactly what you need.
Individual therapy with me is a space that’s entirely yours. No agenda except yours. No performance required.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and active. I draw on attachment theory and trauma-informed care, particularly the kind of pain that develops slowly, in relationships, over time. I use parts-based work to help you understand the different sides of yourself, emotion-focused approaches to get underneath the surface, and body-based work to help you feel safe again…not just understand why you don’t.
I’ll ask the questions that actually get somewhere. I’ll notice things. I’ll gently challenge the stories you’ve been telling yourself for years…not to take anything away from you, but to help you figure out which ones are still true and which ones are just old survival strategies you no longer need.
The goal isn’t to turn you into someone different. It’s to help you reconnect with who you were before you had to spend so much energy just getting through.
